Hello everyone.  I have not forgotten of this; my little blog where I promote my 3d products.  For a while I had been busy with other matters in life and nearly forgot I had the 3d software I call 3ds max.  Still version 9, have not upgraded for many years.  Still don't think its necessary yet, but eventually I will sometime in the future.

This particular month I have been watching some youtube tutorials on how to do specific stuff on 3ds max.  Yes, I know how to operate the software, but 3ds max is so big with features you might just overlook. I have been learning more and more tricks.

Update: Now with a Video render. I tried uploading to Youtube, but for some reason I kept getting error after error page. So I decided to upload only to blogger. Well, about the video, you have to pretend it is flying and going at fast speed. I tried to help with post visuals so it might seem so. I will be back with more videos, and hopefully I will be able to upload to Youtube next time.

This was actually done on 3ds max even though it seems like it was done with other animation software. This clip is in HD, and could be used as stock. It is available for sale. If anyone interested, contact me and I will give you the link on where to purchase. :D

Sword S.3DS

Done in 3ds max 9. This sword had actually been in my mind for a long time, just had not dedicated the time to actually make it on 3ds max. I guess all that Dissidia Final Fantasy playing has been part of the inspiration. Yes, I am especially referring to the great hero: Cloud. His sword now is more detailed on the game and much better than mine here! But I guess this is not that bad considering I did not spent much time and dedication to the details and placing better materials and such.

You can download the .3ds file extension here! Size is very portable at 198 kb, about 4500 vertices. There is also the turbosquid (.max) file that is also free. Thank you all for your visits.

Entertainment Center Dot 3DS

My variaty of many types of objects and certainly the technical ones are much easier to do than drawing organic types of things such as plants, animals, humans and the like. Here I bring you an entertainment center... Pretty much common now and contemporary, including the speakers at the side, simple vase decoration and a plasma screen HD TV. I used default scanline renderer on the pic above and that is how the 3ds max file is set, but for anyone using older versions of max or other 3d softwares I have just uploaded the 3DS file. Sofa Table Set

I guess I have been neglecting my 3ds Max recently, because it has been really long since I posted anything on my blog. I won't blame it on a particular reason, but in fact a whole lots of reasons. I got virus on my computer and it was a pain to use 3ds max. Even though I can get rid of some small fry viruses, some are just very sticky and won't go away. So I decided to re-install windows again. The other issue was that I have been busy doing other stuff. Finding time to work on some 3d models has not been in my schedule, when I really should, because Turbosquid site has been good to me. If things go well, from now on I will upload a couple of models I have on my mind.

Ok, then on to business... Here is a quick rendering of some living room elements, including sofa, couch, and table with top made of glass. I try to keep things simple, so what you see here is what you get. file is a 3ds extension. I did not use any plug-ins, its simple rendered with default scanline renderer, I used 3 light sources, and the file very portable. Download It Here!
